Man 'murdered parents and brother' after 'stealing £150k to send to webcam girl'

A nurse accused of murdering his parents and brother allegedly stole more than £150,000 from them to send to a Bulgarian sex worker he was having an online relationship with, according to reports.
Grant Amato, 29, has been charged with shooting to death his mum Margaret Amato, 61, dad Chad Amato, 59, and brother Cody Amato, 31, in the family home in Chuluota, Florida, last Friday.
Police found the bodies in the garage, kitchen and in an office in the property.
Amato, who is said to suffer from depression, was named as a person of interest on Friday then arrested on Monday. He is currently being held at the John E Polk Correctional Facility in Sanford, Florida.
It has since been revealed that Amato allegedly stole more than £150,000 from the victims in the months leading up to the shooting to send to an Eastern European webcam girl, according to his arrest warrant.

He reportedly met the woman on the adult site Cam Girls last June.
Amato’s surviving brother said that his sibling had been wiring “large sums of money” and his parents were aware of the relationship and told him that he would be kicked out if he didn’t end his relationship with the woman.
They also told Amato, who detectives say is addicted to pornography, he had to complete a 60-day internet and sex addiction program.

Grant is currently being detained without bond
However according to the local Fox news network, detectives say Amato admitted he signed a contract with his parents but that his dad caught him communicating with his “girlfriend” on Twitter.
The day before the murders it is reported his parents told him to leave.
Records also show that, in the last six months, Amato was arrested, fired from his nursing job and dropped out of graduate school.
Cops discovered some firearms were missing from the Florida home
Amato's parents repotedly said they would kick him out if he continued to contact the webcam girl
Amato also checked into a facility in Fort Lauderdale on December 22, two days after he was reported missing by his mum and dad.
They told Seminole County Sheriff's Office deputies their son was suffering from depression, had access to firearms and they were "100 percent convinced he will try to harm himself", according to the incident report seen by Click Orlando.
Amato is due to be arraigned on March 26.
