Mother blamed for wounding youthful little girls, driving off scaffold with them


A Colorado lady is in a correctional facility for purportedly endeavoring to kill her two youthful kids — with cops guaranteeing that she cut the pair and afterward drove off a scaffold with them and into a waterway.

Christina Martinez, 33, was captured Tuesday following a weeks-in length examination by the Otero County Sheriff's Office.

Cops state she assaulted her little girls, ages 8 and 10, at their home in Manzanola on March 31 and after that drove them to the Arkansas River Bridge in her SUV. With them both experiencing cut injuries, Martinez purportedly propelled the vehicle off the side of the extension and into the water underneath. Everybody endures.

On Tuesday, Martinez was discharged from the medical clinic and quickly captured. She was being held at the Otero County Jail in southern Colorado on a $500,000 bond — accused of four tallies of endeavored first-degree murder, two checks of first-degree attack, two checks of lawful offense youngster misuse and pyro-crime. Her first court appearance is booked for April 24.
