Nurse last seen alone at casino on Valentine’s Day found dead

A married California nurse last seen alone at a casino on Valentine’s Day was found dead, officials said.
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office said Brooke Ann Harris was discovered unresponsive in a vehicle parked at a local church on Wednesday.
Her cause of death was under investigation, but authorities said there was no immediate evidence to suggest foul play.
Harris was spotted in the Golden State on Feb. 14, when surveillance footage showed her unaccompanied at the Red Hawk Casino in Placerville around 4:30 p.m. Her daughter last saw her the previous night, officials said.
The mom used her cellphone to call her husband Thursday, then left the device behind at their El Dorado Hills home.
Harris was a registered nurse who surrendered her license in 2016 — but had it reinstated the week before she vanished, according to news station KCRA.
Licensing records revealed she suffered from mental health issues, KCRA reported. It was not immediately clear if those issues played any role in her disappearance or death.
Authorities urged anyone with information to call 530-621-6600.
