BREAKING NEWS: Up to six people are killed in mass shooting in Germany




Six family members are feared dead in a mass shooting in Germany this afternoon.  
Aalen police said a gunman opened fire in a building shortly after midday in the southwestern town of Rot am See, Baden-Wuerttemberg, 105 miles northwest of Munich.
Germany newspaper Bild reports that the victims were all members of the same family and were gunned down by a 37-year-old male who was known to them.
Police confirmed that several other people have been injured and that the suspect has been arrested.

Initial information suggests the victims and the suspect knew each other and there is no indication more suspects were involved.
Police spokesman Holger Binert told German broadcaster n-tv he could not say yet exactly how many people had been killed.
He said: 'We have arrested a suspect,' adding that initial information suggested the suspect and one or more of the victims knew each other.
'In any case, we have no information on further suspects,'
